The Dharma talks (Sundays with Sunim) are wonderful -- inspiring and informative, lighthearted and humorous. Julia and Michael are both quite knowledgeable about Buddhism, and they have done an outstanding job creating,furnishing, and maintaining the Center, with many beautiful statues and figures. All in all, a very L.A. kind of Buddhist center: very low-key, informal, essentially non-ceremonial, aesthetically delightful, friendly, and supportive. I've met some good friends there and deepened my practice.
