The Garden Christian Fellowship in Los Angeles, California

The Garden is the best church our family has attended. We grew so much spiritually through genuine relationships (community groups), serving the community (Harvest festival, Easter and adopting a neighborhood), Missions (Navajo nation, Mexico mission, Rwanda) and Servant Leadership. It is a very HEALTHY and THRIVING church. It is a spirit-filled church that expresses their love and need for God through HUMBLE and AUTHENTIC worship. The Garden and the relationships that was formed here are our support network. Both our kids were born while we attended the church and they are already growing through the exceptional children's ministry. I cannot wait to see how God will move in this church through the members in the future. I've experienced a warm, inviting and loving community which fosters growth and positive relationships. But, I've experienced GRACE and LOVE at this church. I've seen HUMILITY and hearts that are OPEN and TEACHABLE....through serving the need and countless hours serving the community. I believe that God placed imperfect poeple like you and me (all breathing humans) to work alongside Him to accomplish His goals - thus remaining completely dependent on Him. Garden is a bigger church so you will need to get plugged in (community groups, ministries) to really see and experience how a real community works - more than just what you see Sundays.

I came to the Garden in 2015 when going through one of the toughest seasons in my life. I was warmly greeted by the people at the church. Pastor David is always so loving, genuine, and passionate for the Lord. He prayed with us (and continues to) during our hardship and brought so much comfort. I also got plugged in with a small community group and got to experience unconditional love and support from the members. I always look forward to Sunday worship because I feel the presence of the Lord during praise and Pastor David's sermons are always encouraging to my soul. The children's ministry is also amazing. The teachers are so vibrant, so fun, and so loving in teaching the gospel to the children. This church follows and teaches the sound doctrine of the Bible and is ready to share the love of Christ to any who walk through the doors. I am so blessed to call the Garden my home church.

I love this church and I've been going for 16 years. I've been to other churches, but the garden is extremely special. Those that say that the pastor says "racist" jokes are extremely misinformed, and probably have not even gone to the Garden because this is complete garbage.
