Christy Flowers in Los Angeles, California

I was referred by a friend and used Christy Flowers 3 separate times. First time I used them to rent the white tree-like arch with all decor for my daughters wedding ceremony and trees with coral colored flowers for the reception. I was totally happy with the outcome. Second time was for my church anniversary celebration. I rented, again, trees with all the lights and decor. I was happy with the outcome. Both times, I dealt directly with one of their workers by the name of Fermin, who took the time to get all the details of what I expected. He was very helpful and professional. Fermin also handled delivering the items and decorating them. He did an excellent job and obviously knew what he was doing. My experience on the THIRD time I used Christy; I went to the store and I was assisted by Roberto who told me he was the owner. I asked for Fermin and he quickly says that Fermin was not in and that he could help me. I begin telling Roberto that I needed to rent a curtain-type backdrop with flowers and decor for a wedding ceremony. All the while, this man is talking quickly as if in a rush. He assures me they do the curtain backdrop and answers my questions for details with "don't worry, I will bring everything and make it look very nice." He asks me for the colors and I tell him I want the backdrop to be all white with white flowers and greens. No problem. Long story short, on the day of the delivery and set-up, I notice that he wrote "ivory" on my receipt. I call him to remind that the color is to be white. He says he only has ivory, but will bring white. He then shows up and attempts, SEVERAL times, to create a curtain backdrop. When he finished, I can't even explain or describe what he did, short of just saying it was horrible. I finally tell him to leave the backdrop as is, but I would not pay full price of $500 for the horrible job. He gets upset and very unprofessional and gives me back my deposit and says he pretty much doesn't need my money since he has 3 businesses of his own and tells me I am the one that can't make up my mind. He leaves and some of the women of our church including myself, ended up taking the whole thing apart and doing the backdrop ourselves. Yes, I ended up not paying a thing but that's what happens when you don't deliver. I was willing to give him something for his time, but he became for nasty towards me. He didn't deliver, he was beyond rude, not truthful with the fact that he didn't even know what he was doing and gave no apologies. My 3rd experience was so bad, I will no longer do business with Christy.
